ooo racer too! thats gona be awesome. Im gonna have to stepup my game this season. I've heard that its a good idea to plan a "weak" point when building an entire aluminum chassis. Like leavin plastic shock towers to break instead of aluminum bending. Just an idea. Looks AWESOME!!!

Heres alittle something about aluminum versus plastic. Say your racing and you take a bad jump in the final minutes of a main. Scenario A: Plastic Snap, you break an arm and your out. You were in the lead and now you are done for the day. Scenario B:Aluminum Crash, tumble you keep going. You finish the remaining 3 minutes and take home a victory. After close inspection of your RC you see that you bent one of your arms. Out of those 2 scenarios I would rather bend then break.

right now I have a new OS18 sitting idle. Picking up my backplate for it sometime this week. Then I will break it in with my starter box along with all my other little goodies. When I get my new engine mount I will through my old work horse WS7II in there and see how it handles the power

well heres some updated pics of the TERMINATOR I should have it fully assembled hopefully by monday or wednesday and ready to break in All the aluminum aftermarket parts are GH and my chassis is just highly polished stock chassis, and the rims are Hot Bodies from the Twin Enginezilla. They are just for show as well as most of the pieces on there right now. When racing starts all the big al parts will be removed if I feel its weighing it down too much. there are more pics on my site www.JOKERacing.com about 20 or so pics under my gallery section

or you could get a truggy???
You going the right route though, more practice will only make you that much better. I know I have improved and only from practicing more and more. Hell I am stil improving and hope to get alot better. The only way to do that is to race against others who are better and faster. They push you then in return you will push them always raising the bar higher and higher.
Would you believe that I went from an RB21WS7II to a .15 Traxxas engine and my lap times improved???
Its not always bigger is better, but practice makes you better. Hope to have lot of fun times racing with everyone this year. Hopefully learning some new things from other drivers and helping others as well.

just weighed up my truck. I now have it almost ready to run. Servos are in, gas tank, pipe, roll bar. The only things left to put on are the rx and battery pack. Minus those 2 things and no wheels also, since those hot bodies are pigs, my Revo right now as it stands weighs 6.2lbs. So after the response tires are put on and rx and battery pack, it shouldnt weigh more than 8.5lbs. Not bad for being mostly aluminum
