im having some problems with my batts i got 2 sanyo 3000 that i bought used of a menber a while ago and am having problems charging them. the problem is they only charge to about 9-9.5 volts and never go any higher, i have no idea why, i have never had this problem with any of my batts before so i dont know what to do. any help would be greatly apreciated

Is that 2 6cell packs, or 2 cells. If it is 6 thats a total of 7.2v (1.2 each) the higher the voltage the more resistance in each cell ( bad )..9.0 is about average for a peak charge. What rate are you charging at? If thats for 2 cells, you have problems with the cells or you're charger.

Discharge the batery with one of those outo cut off dischargers. Once the battery is cold, start charging it.
Monitor hom many mAh the battery takes not the voltage. If it's a 3000mAh pack, then it should take in the neighbourhood of 3000 mAh. If the cells are hot and it only took 1500 then they are done.
Also look for only one individual cell that mey be getting a lot hotter then the rest. If that happens then that one cell is done.
