The first rc car i got was a used electric stampede, ive had it for about a year. I used it quite a bit and now not so much. Im selling it and already have a buyer. I was wondering if i should put that money towards a new rc. Maybe even a nitro. But im trying to figure out if the reason i stopped using my rc was that i was bored, or had other things to do. School, work etc. I want to get a new rc, but will i be using it, hmmmmm. I just wanted some tips and advice as to what i might do if someone has been in the same situation and other tips as to what i should move up to if i do. Anyone selling an Emaxx? Thanks for any help.

well if you want to go nitro it depends what ur using it for if ur usually at school and dont have that much time you would want something that can go on road too... i end up never going to the track so most of the time i end up just driving around in the cul-dee-sack ...how often do u end up going to the track? whats ur price range? are u a competitive driver or just bashing?

Well im not looking to spend a whole lot, id be bashing and probably would be making it to the track every single week. Theres a small dirt track down by my house used by bmxers which is pretty cool, i could use it there. I know that to get a new emaxx with batteries and charger would be 800 approximately. I'd rather not spend that much, probably a lot less. I also have zero experience with nitro cars so i might want to stick to electric? If i did the only place to go would be to an emaxx. if i went nitro it would be hard to get a good cheap truck (i think). Sooooooo yah.

stick with what ya got if ya like electric if you drive half decent with it and would rather save the 40$ for the gallon of gas it really adds up so stick with electric if u on a tight budget...ya i : have a constuction yard near my house anything that has dirt and has bumps or jumps is awsome for bashing so that bmx track is a good local place to go...hopefully it isnt too populated with bikers...that would really cost alot if some guy lost controll and broke everything!

Well i wouldn't keep the same car i have now. Its just not enough for me to take interest in. An almost stock year and a half old pede (electric no less) doesnt have as much kick as many other cars. Its just getting kind of tired and it never really could handle a dirt track too well. My options are to sell it and leave it at that or upgrade, it would have to be an emaxx. Buuuuuuut i dont want to spend the money so i really dont have many options heh.

either slam the truck (lower rustler mounts) or jsut change the truck to a rustler.
i myself have the lowered rustler mounts with a rustler body and a novak ss5800 (in a box right now, but its going to be fun) it is great for bashing and can be fairly fun on the track if its setup right.
