hey paintbalkidz
if you are thinking about an electric helicopter, I would seriously look at one called a T rex. it is cheaper than most, is a tank, parts are cheap and can take you from learning to a decent 3D flier.
I have tried a lot of the smaller electric helis

Hello everyone, I added you to msn Pipeous. I was just woundering what is a T Rex? Is it a Heli? Anyways when do you guys fly R/C Helicopters there? where is it loacated? Is any one going to flying like this Saturday Or Sunday? I would love to see an Electric or Gas heli fly for the first time and maybe learn some basics about them.. I'm a n00b and know nothing about Helis.

T Rex is made by a company called Align from Taiwan. They have upgraded and fixed any issues we have had fast and parts are less than half of anything remotely similar. it will fly stock, unlike most, and if you want to upgrade, they make all the goodies for cheap. www.align.com.tw/shop/index.php?cPath=22_25Here are some pics of mine and the modifications I have done... www3.telus.net/Pipeous/Pics/T-Rex2/I dyed the frame black, changed the linkages to a ccpm conversion, stretched it and put longer blades on. I am doing the grey one pictured now into stock length and a different ccpm conversion. Just going to fly outside my house in a couple minutes..... the joy of electric helis.
