Can anyone comment on the benefit of having high torque servos? Is it better to upgrade the steering or the throttle servo? What servo do you recommend? I’m running a Savage 25. What will it cost?
Thank you.

You would be beter to upgrade to a high torque steering servo first. The benefit of it would generally be more power to turn the wheels. You dont need as much torque with throttle servos, you would want more speed. For a monster trucks you would want any servo over 120oz. of torque, but you can never have to much ;D

What would one like that cost?
Any idea what the stock ones put out? Is there a difference between the throttle and the steering one or do they put out the same?
Is the JR Z590M Servo any good?

You can get a hi-tech mg-645 for about $70, and they have 130oz. of torque. A the bad thing about some stock servos are they have plastic gears and only have around 50-70 oz. of torque. The more money you pay the better servo your getting.
