IF you plan on racing at kamakazie! mulchers are a must/imex or proline.pick up a high torque servo(steering)keep the truck light and reliable.

My first nitro buggy was in 1981 kyosho landjump 1/8 big heavy pig with a chain drive! so needless to say i have tuned many an engine and the sirio 27 had to be the biggest pain in the ass to tune ask d.i.r.t about his sirio 27 experiance >:(you would be advised to stay away. go mach 26 or picco 26. ;D

ok siro is out of the question then um what is the better engine for the better price for what you get mach or picco 26?
How much are they and what is the best one for raceing also how much are the piston and sleeves cause i am a horible tuner so im try to work on that but an estimate would be nice ty for all the info so far its a big help

If you're new to racing I'd stick with what you have for an engine. Assuming you have the stock one.
Get some titantium turnbuckles , if you wipeout lots the stock ones will bend
Arms are prone to break(have spares)
Aluminum spindles will be a good upgrade as they are prone to break as well.....ask anyone who owns a GT
Tires are a must ....mulchers work well
Stock steering servo is high torque
And last , but not least .....get a REVO ;D

lol the suspension on the Revo kicks but! hom many oz of torque does the stock stering servo have for MGT? and i have the blue RPM susp. arms so if they break ill just send em back to the factory lol 16 bucks for the arms ill send em back cost me 20 in shiping lol

If you go to Associated website it will tell you i'm sure. Plus if you are running stock radio , you need to plug the battery into a spare channel as it doesn't provide enough power from the battery slot. Associated site should tell you this as well. If you break an arm during racing , I don't think UPS can ship that fast ::)get some spares. At the very least have the stock ones on hand. Stock engine is good for beginners , as it is fairly easy to tune. Stick with what you have til you can around the track consistently without wiping out. You don't need a roll cage , just keep the stock roll bar on and you should be fine. Stock shocks work well , but the power strokes are a good upgrade if you think you need to or if you have a surplus of cash. Best tip of all....... STAY OUT OF MY WAY ! Remember to pull over for the leader , that will be me ;D

spares are most important. anything that can break or bend. mulchers are what I want. they work just about anywhere. joker and dirt always test all the hop ups so can attest to their qualities well lol
