the webmaster is alittle sensitive to some subjects. hehehehe The track schedule from last year which is still up on the site from last year was for sundays. This years schedule will be racing on Saturdays weather permitting. Please ensure that everyone knows that it is saturdays for racing. Also the track should only be used on the other 2 days that are posted for practice. I believe it is Tuesday and fridays for practice from 1-dusk. Everyone enjoy and see you all this Saturday. Time to get this racing season started.

Please read the first post. It is not wrong. your eyes are not deceivng you, racing is on SATURDAY
SATURDAY
S A T U R D A Y
S A T U R D A Y
Plese stop asking why it's not on a different day other than SATURDAY.
We started the season early because the weather is nice. If changes are made to the schedule it will be announced. There is no reason to freak out... just trust in information that gets posted.
Thank you.

Why do the CAMRC members have so much less track time than the flying field users? Shouldn't we all have the same amount access time?

Thanks for the very good question.
The city divided up the time slots without having a meeting with (Car guys, heli guys & plane guys) and that is what they came up with.
There will be a meeting with the city coming up soon that once the date is know it will get posted so that racers can attend. In the meeting among other things track hours will be one of the big items to be worked on and that is what there is so far.
CAM RC has more members than both the Heli and Airplane club... and this is very good.

So if sat is our new race day! why should we have to wait on the flying field!! I'm shure many like myself!would like to get there early and make a day off it! And get some practice runs in. (ie: take our time) Why not make sun an all day flying and sat all day car?

Like I said one post above.
The sign at the track was drafted without the RC car, heli and planes guys presence.
That's why there is a meeting coming up.

Personaly I think it will be RC cars every day on whatever day you want and whatever time.
Heli and Planes guys will probably be separated but RC cars will probably be alowed while heli or planes.
My oppinion.

There is going to be another meeting with the city to review the schedule. until then everyone has to stick to the schedule posted on the signs at the track.
On the other hand. If you witness anyone not abiding by the schedule then you should voice a complaint to the City.
That means that if there are any people flying during the alotted time for ground used then you need to notify the City.
(I know up until now we have been trying to get along with the flying club and have suggest not complaining about such things but the City officials want that kind of input.)

BTW, we walk onto the track at 12:00 noon, not 1:00 pm on Saturdays.
The meeting to discuss the time schedule is tentatively set for 7:00 pm on Tuesday April 26 at the Pinetree Community Centre (same place as where you get your Facility Use Card).
We need as many people as possible at that meeting to show support for the simultaneous use of helis and cars. Mark it down on your calendar. I'll keep people posted as to developments/changes, etc.
