Are you getting back into the 1/10th scale gas? I think Michael needs someone to give him a good run up in Quesnel.

got the gas truck running so I could run that. found out my problem was the carb coming loose. I need to find a different carb sometime but for this weekend I jb quick'd it in. (same as jb weld but dries much faster). It should be fine for the weekend. it will just be a real pain to get it out later. I'll fire it up in a bit and see how it goes.... if it's all good, maybe I'll burn a tank and see. maybe I should run both?
well the ek4 won't start, I have fuel, glow, seems to have compression? I even got it to hydro lock. I have changed carb settings, checked every joint for an air leak, sealed the carb base with jb quick, head bolts are tight, one way works, clutch is fine, clutch bearing is fine.... maybe something let go inside? time to rip a motor apart. dam was going to mask and paint the cuda at work tonight

blown main bearing for me.... I can get a bearing ordered in but won't be here for a week. I can get a new one for $180.... dam I need shocks though. so much for getting sleep. long weekend trip to richmond? I just have had the best of luck, well off for a drive...
just got back from Jet Hobbies, as they had a 70 motor. he was going to give me a pretty good deal but the crank is different. no way to put a clutchbell on. I am not spending $180 for a new bearing lol and having a few spare parts. I ordered the bearing for $18 and get it next week.
so is there going to be a gas truck class? if so I will come and race the rc10gt old school beast. I want to race, been far too long for me.

I saw you doing a bit of work!!!
On your setup that is. ;D
I just need to tell everyone that is going to attend this event that the parking is not as good as it usually is because of the DIRT that is waiting to be brought into the track. ALL cars need to be parked so that they are completely OFF the road. DO NOT park on the road for any reason. This road should not be blocked. if you need help bringing stuff into the track area please ask for help.
We do not want to inconvenience anyone that lives or works on this road. They are our neighbors and deserve all the respect we can give them.
The DIRT has been approved for use on the track and the plans have been reviewed by the city officials. Hopefully in the near future the dirt will be re-located to the track and free up that side of the street for parking. Please contact the Track Director before you move any dirt because certain safety precautions have to be met for moving the dirt across the street.
