Wintermute: feel free to make it as long & high-res as possible! For those poor souls of us who couldn't make it to the weekends racing, so we can at least get some of the action in. *jelous look* Anyone have the final results?

The 8th scale A main was interesting to say the least. Track played a major role and was hard for everyone to stay in the zone or groove so to speak. Mistakes were common place by everyone. It's unfortunate that TQ Colin B. did'nt start the main due to engine troubles. He was a good sport and helped in pitlane. Rob S. A.K.A Inferno was also missed as he developed terminal mechanical problems somewhat early on. Mark, Seb, Ronnie, were fast all weekend too and had as much of a chance as winning as did all who made the main. Adam has been improving fast and has quickly showed some hidden speed. Gord was hanging in too, I think the computer missed a couple laps but hopefully thats all resolved. Paulo, great to see you out again! How do you like the 777? All in all it was an interesting race. Special thanks to my always reliable pitman Steve Cossey who always fuels me fast and full everytime. Thanks man, I am buying you dinner dood! Hobaaaooooooo LOL!

Just for the record - regarding the lap counting. A number of people had laps adjusted after the Mains. Several people had transponders stop working midway through the race. I manually counted them as best I could, then reviewed the lap time printout after the race. Brad Davis lost a lap because he had a 10 second lap followed by a 20 second lap which obviously was an extra lap. It made no difference in the end, since Brad won by more than a lap anyway. Seb's transponder stopped working midway through the race. When I noticed it I started manually counting him. At the end of the race, after examining the printout, I added 15 laps to Seb's lap count (which gave him 4th instead of 6th, although it may have been 16 or 17 laps that were missed. However, I didn't want anyone to lose any positions because of a guess on my part, so I only gave him 15 laps. Seb graciously accepted my conservative guess, even though it may have cost him up to 2 positions. Sorry if I shorted you Seb, but it was the best I could do with the info I had. Gord's results were also questionable, but a review of his lap times showed them to be correct. The 2 questionable laps were a 50 second lap and a 55 second lap. For these to be missed laps, they would have had to be 2 consecutive 25 second laps and 2 consecutive 27.5 second laps, which would have been 4 track record laps in a row - in heavy traffic and on a very rough track - a very unlikely scenario. With the heavy traffic and rough track, there were no 27 second laps recorded in the Main, so it is very doubtful that anyone recorded 2 consecutive ones. Sorry if I shorted you Gord, but I did the best I could with the info I had. In Monster Truck class, Ronny's transponder stopped working midway through the Main. A review of his laps gave him 8 laps which put him in 3rd, bumping me to 6th. Steven got an extra lap in the Main because he took longer than 20 seconds to cross the loop for the first time. It made no difference to his standing. Hope this explains everything to everyone's satisfaction.
