Better Com & Advertising for racing events
- Can somebody send out e-mails to all the members 6 days in advance before any race? Just write: Fool, there is a race on the 13th or August, 2005.
- Doesn anybody know a fast way of sifting the dirt and leveling it a tad better than what it is now?
That's it, so far.

To be honest Seb, after running a couple clay tracks, I am hooked on them. We should look into dumping a load of clay down on top of everything. I think the club needs to meet and vote on a couple things. The rocks are brutal right now.
And I think we can start posting threads about racing in all the forums to let people know rather than just here.

Laying down 2x4's (or whatever) at either side of the track at ground height and using another (track-width) piece to level the track using the side-pieces as rails to determine 'level' should work.. it would require a few good-sized pieces of wood though (you can just re-use the side pieces around the entire track), and a small amount of digging to embed the side pieces. That works well for paving at least.

I thought the dirt was being sifted prior to using it on the track? After the constant problem with rocks on the old surface, are we in for the same with the new?

Looking at the Options that or out there I think clay is the way to go Less dust on none race day and less maintenance I like the Kelowna track My self it seems to be hard but good on tires and little maintenance When I’m up in Quesnel I'll ask rob some questions
I agree with Pipeous the club need to have some meetings And discus and vote on a couple of things

Yes, I agree. The club needs to have a meeting. However, we seem to hardly be able to get enough people out for a race, let alone a meeting. We've been intending to discuss and vote on Monster Truck rules at a drivers meeting for 3 weeks now, but we've never had enough people out to justify making a decision.
So come out and race, or just attend the drivers meeting if you have an issue to raise.
