We've had a long stretch of bad weather so today was one Great day of racing! Thanks, to all the guys who organized and ran the race. Congradulations, to Seb who as always cleans up in 1/8 Nitro buggy, Sean who was clearly fastest and won in 1/8 truggy, and I forget who won in the monster truck class. The weather couldn't hve been better. Just the perfect temprature with overcast skys to keep the sun off our backs and dirt conditions such that it just falls off the cars at the end of the day. It's rare that the cars come home clean from off-road racing.
Sean, your truggy was the fastest at the main.

Perfect racing conditions... it was great. Some guys got lazy and didn't participate, but now they wish they had their cars out because they stoped by and saw how great everything was....
Also there were supposed to be a lot more monster trucks... I gues they all played on Friday for one too many laps and things happen....
I love the big jump... it jumps unreal lap after lap and now we don't even have to do maintenence on it!!!
Lots of new people signed up and lots of others renewed their yearly club membership.
Almost forgot, the club had some realy sweet prizes for everyone who raced... there was free chocolate Easter eggs and the grad price was a huge gold chocholate bunny.
Top 3 in every clas got coupons to Race Tech. $15 - 10 and 5.
Also the city changed the designated track usage days.
The only change was:
We no longer have Saturday from Noon to Dusk. Instead we have Sunday from 11:00am to Dusk...
Can't wait for next race day...

Sunday from 11am+ sounds good! Is this effective immediately?
Will Race Tech will be open Saturdays throughout the season now? I remember being closed on Saturdays when there was racing was a big issue due to it traditionally being the busiest day of the week for the shop.

Great race on saturday! The Mugen Truggy looks very fast. We were all very close, swapping the lead in the qualifiers. I guess the race schedule is going to change to Sundays.

The Mugen is an insane chassis but having raced the Jammin all last year and it's not showing any wear at all, but then again I oiled the cvd drives like they are supposed to be... most people don't do that and wear them out. Never rebuilt the shocks all year either.
Philip just installed his Ninja .21 buggy engine in his MBX5R... it looks like the picture on the box.
I'm going with the .28 Ninja in my MBX5T... I want to run with you guys too.... then top 4 will be swapping positin all race long, hopefuly.

Except when you pull in for the extra refuel due to having a .28 when the rest of the field has .21s - then we can all blast past you! muahaha I'm going to try running a .21 V-Spec (I ran one in my buggy last season) in my MBX5-T as it has good power. I think it'll be fine, but if not those Ninja's are looking damn nice I'll agree! *edit: err.. "pit.stop" (no period). gets replaced with "another hobby shop"?
