By the looks of it, this situation with Kamikaze is not going to be resolved overnight or by saturday for that matter. If anyone is needing a fix of some racing the closest place is Mike RCs indoor track in bellingham. They will be running this saturday racing starts at 2pm. Classes currently being run are 1/8 Buggy, MT, gas trucks and electric. I think if there are enough people we can all head down there in alittle train, hehehe The drive for me from Vancouver is roughly 1hour 15minutes or so depending on the border line up. Just get on I-5 from the crossing and head south. Take the Ohio Street exit. I believe it is exit #254. Take the first right in front of McDonalds. Take the next left at the stop light. This will put you in front of Dairy Queen. Get in the right hand lane and take the next right at the light. Take the next left onto Kentucky street. Go one block and you'll see MIKES RC sign. They are on the corner of Kentucky and Iron. Turn right on Iron to geto the entrance. If you have any problems, the number to the store is (360) 733-3662 Come one come all I might have some room for one or two people depending on whether I bring my crew(wife and 3 kids...oops lets not forget Seb in there )

fine for those that can go down. I got a $25 fine 11 years ago that stops me from crossing the border and will cost about $1800 to get it cleared from my name. I just can't afford to do that
why not run this weekend since we have it until may 16th?

Actually it is probably best not to even go near the track till we can discuss the problems with the city.
Right now is a good time to start obeying the rules and not breaking them.

19022 16th ave. Surrey, Sundays..... Bring rakes and shovels. It is at Panther Paintball. He has set aside part of the parking lot for a track and has it layed out and started. The surface is rough right now but It is driveable. If there is enough interest in it then it looks like it may be expanded. There is no formal racing but it is a place to run your RC. (and if there are any conflicts etc... you can always rent a couple of paintball guns and settle it at 20 paces. ;D ) Quote from PantherPrime on Another forum... The small track is, runable right now for playing around, I think in the future with a bit more work, it will be a great Electric track, little small for nitro. We have a large field where guys have been running their nitro's and it is the one in the vid's on www.blackskullsorts.com. this area we could make a track as big as we want, but it takes work and time, unfortunately this is the bizzy time for Paintball, so I can't dedicate all that much time to building it. And to answer all the phone calls we've been getting: Yes there is no charge to run out there right now and for the month of May, all we ask is 1 hour of labour to rake and clean up the first track. we are available Tuesday and Friday nights fom 4pm on, to play or work, check in at the booth. Also we are going to run on Sundays for now, Saturdays we are just tooo bizzy with the paintballers. We have to have waivers signed for anyone racing, just to cover us for liabilty, so please do that first. And we ask that anyone who is on the track to sign a waiver too. Watching is fine but if you are wandering around the track,...welll stuff happens right? Lights will be up soon for the first track for night racing,. We are considering memberships and rentals. We are considering a sand drag track We are building a jump and landing pad for those crazies who like to get big air. We have not build a tower/podium yet but it will come in time. any questions draxxus69@hotmail.com P.S. We have tons of good packing dirt, a bobcat, sand to mix etc, even a screen, but a shortage of shovels and rakes ( apparentky they run away at night) so all is welcome.

Until further notice the track is basically off limits.

Cool, if they're into designing/building a larger track more specifically geared towards nitro I would definitely be willing to put in time and effort to make it happen. I'll try to make it out on Sunday to show my support. I don't have any rakes or shovels, but I'm sure there will be some there I can use...

I know people always have lots of oppinions but if your post is not regarding racing in the USA this Saturday...make a new thread and post the stuff there. Not trying to be disrespectfull, but all I want is to race this weekend.
I busted my hand for 4 year maintaining a offroad track...and now all I want to do is race...so please make your new thread.. I'll clean this one up in 12+ hours from now.
I want to race this weekend and that is all.

Just a bit of advice.... You will probably need your Driver's licence AND birth certificate. (or passport) when crossing the border. And if Shelby is under I think it is 16 you will probably want a note from his Guardian/Parent. www.customs.ustreas.gov/xp/cgov/travel/id_visa/req_canada_mexico.xmlYou can call the border to find out. better to check first rather than be turned around at the border.
