Pipe,
Yes we have the GV1 ($269 I think) and the power panel is $20 to $30.

I tried 2 new things today. Today I flew the evo with no hoop or pontoons (had hoop on to dial it in).
It went well, take offs and landings. I was doing some aggressive climbs and drops and about 30 feet up I stalled the motor. I was coming down in a fast descent and I pounded the throttle to slow down. It basically stopped and stalled, then started dropping. I managed to flip the auto switch and got enough negative to get a some blade speed an I landed it, nose in. first time but I had no choice haha. dam that scared me. nooooooooooooooooo. I have the exact same heli on real flight g2 I downloaded (I just need to change the motor).

Plasmas got an IMZ 50 now and is loving the vertical zooming.
He's doing some inverted hovering now and some way cool vertical Esses. Oh... and some mini autos.

I can't wait to see plasma flying. sounds like he is getting dam good. I really need to come to the field. I don't fly enough. I am a little intimidated by this bigger heli too hehe

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Been watching it for a while now and see there are a few people flying helis. I was just wondering if you guys do most of your flying out on pipeline road? Or is there another place where you can fly at? I do most of my flying at the fry's corner field but there is not a very big group of heli guys there. Just wondering when the most heli flyers are out on pipeline?

I have gone out to watch at Pipleine but never flown there yet. Sunday seems to be a good day for guys. Lots of people when I went. I enjoyed just hanging out and watching even. I am getting some wheels so I can come out there to fly more often myself (my heli is too big for the place I go now)

On the weekend, the plane guys fly in the morning and the helis in the afternoon.
On weekdays, it seems to be mostly helis. On almost any nice day, there'll be 5 or 6 helis out and a couple of planes (from about 2 pm on).

I am so close to having wheels again. back to beaters. I just don't want to take any more chances. I won't be flying again until I get to the field. I did a little hovering to break the motor in, and a couple climbs and drops but I need some room.

Hey Plasma I heard you had an encounter with gravity? Dude that truly sucks.
Best saying I heard was a crash is like a teenage girlfriends father.... The sooner it gets out of the way the better...

It was his radio, it stoped responding.... I don't think he crashed because of pilot error yet.
Good job Plasmablud....

Yahoo, Joel and Cory have joined the heli ranks.
Joel was out with his heli today and was hovering no problem (up to 10 feet high) for 2 tanks of fuel.

Cory had his first heli flights today (with training gear on). He was bouncing around the flying circle for 3 tanks of fuel. Starting to hover a bit now. Looking good!

Joel went nuts today. It's only his 3rd day with the heli, and he was flying circuits, nose in, crazy high flight, harsh banked turns. He's been flying in 3D mode too. He started to do his first loop, got almost inverted when he remembered he wasn't in 3D mode and bailed out of it. As you can imagine, I was hiding behind the bleachers (for protection) while all this was happening. I did my first nose-in loop today It was easier than I thought it would be. Marc did a bunch of them yesterday and I can't let him get too far ahead of me. ;D

Too funny. Sounds like I am really missing out on some great fun. I have been flying on private property lately, nice field surrounded by trees and no people. Kev has been there with me but I forgot the camera the last 2 times out. I did some piros (both directions) and same as joel, got vertical in a climb a couple times to do a loop and bailed out. Chicken chicken lol. I don't want to crash...
I just got an augusta fuselage, unpainted, for my evo (well I get it this weekend). it was only $150 cdn so I had to say yes. I was flying super hig and far away yesterday, and lost my heli. I had to start walking towards the heli to see it. I thought it was game over. So either put the augusta on or the pontoons again was an easy decision for me.... (augusta looks way too cool and you just slide the whole heli inside the shell)
